COMPLIANCE POLICIES FOR RESPONSIBLE CONDUCT

Gebrüder Lödige Maschinenbau GmbH stands for responsible and legal conduct. At the heart of our corporate philosophy is the consistent observance of compliance guidelines, the guarantee of a transparent corporate culture through the involvement of ombudspersons and the strict observance of our Code of Conduct. These pillars form the foundation of our commitment to legal and ethical standards.

OMBUDSPERSON AT GEBRÜDER LÖDIGE MASCHINENBAU GMBH

Within our company, Ms Carola Sieling, Attorney at Law, and Dr. Dirk Schwenn, Attorney at Law are our ombudspersons. In compliance matters, they serve as independent, external points of contact for our employees and third parties, ensuring that reports of criminal offences and legal violations are treated confidentially. Their responsibilities include:

  • Receiving and carefully examining reports of possible breaches
  • Safeguarding the anonymity of the whistleblower at their request
  • Forwarding relevant information to senior management, but only after thorough consultation and with the consent of the whistleblower.

The integration of ombudspersons into our compliance strategy underscores our commitment to establishing an open and secure reporting system and to addressing compliance breaches effectively. The aim is to support the company in investigating compliance breaches and in handling reports of breaches in accordance with the Whistleblower Protection Act, without the whistleblower having to fear any adverse consequences.

As a second, equivalent option for submitting reports, an external reporting office has been set up at the Federal Office of Justice. You are free to decide whether you wish to submit a report to the internal reporting office or use the external reporting office.
