  FOUNDATION STONE FOR A SUCCESS STORY

  The first and probably most important milestone in the LÖDIGE history: the Lödige brothers in Paderborn/Germany lay the foundations for a success story that continues to this day.

  DEVELOPMENT OF THE PLOUGHSHARE® MIXER

  The heart of the invention, the patented Ploughshare Shovel, revolutionises mixing technology. The LÖDIGE mixer quickly becomes synonymous with success and versatility and is used in a wide range of industries. The introduction of the chopper in 1957 significantly expands the application options for the mixer.

  SPECIAL DEVELOPMENTS & GLOBAL EXPANSION

  • 1968

    Based on the principle of the Ploughshare Mixer, LÖDIGE develops the DRUVATHERM® Reactors and Dryers.

    

  • 1972

    The company continues to expand: foundation of the company Lödige España S.A.

    

  • 1974

    Sale of the first Mixing Granulator type MGT - a breakthrough in the pharmaceutical, cosmetics and food industries.

    

  • 1980

    Sale of the first Coater for coating tablets.

  THE PAPENMEIER MANUFACTURER BECOMES PART OF THE LÖDIGE GROUP

  After the acquisition of Papenmeier, the Papenmeier Mixers and further equipments are integrated in the LÖDIGE product range (“Papenmeier System”).

  COMPANY ANNIVERSARY, BRAND IDENTITY & BREAKING SUCCESS

    50 year anniversary of LÖDIGE: a celebration with employees, their families as well as political and business representatives.

    A milestone in brand development: Gebrüder Lödige Maschinenbau GmbH is presenting itself with a new logo "Lödige Process Technology".

    

  • 2003

    LÖDIGE takes over the Mixing and Reaction Technology Business Group of Draiswerke, Mannheim/Germany including Sales, Customer Service, Test Centre and Engineering.

    

  • 2006

    Sale of the largest LÖDIGE Reactor to date: type DVT 55000 for batch operation.

  70 YEAR COMPANY ANNIVERSARY OF LÖDIGE

  The 70 year anniversary of the LÖDIGE company is celebrated with a large party for all employees with their families. In the same year, a further production building is inaugurated increasing the production area to 14,550 m² at the LÖDIGE site in Paderborn/Germany.

  INNOVATION, EXPANSION & ANOTHER REASON TO CELEBRATE

  One year marked by three events: LÖDIGE gets 75 years old, a Joint Venture is founded in Mumbai/India (Bectochem Loedige Process Technology Pvt. Ltd.) to strengthen the local presence and production and a further Test Centre of 300 m² is inaugurated at the German LÖDIGE site in Paderborn for trials specifically for the pharmaceutical, food and cosmetics industry.

  LÖDIGE STRENGTHENS ITS PRESENCE & INNOVATION

    2015

    A Joint Venture is founded in Beijing/China (Lödige Beijing Co. Ltd.) expanding our global presence. Furthermore: sale of the largest LÖDIGE continuous machine to date, type KM 57000.

    2016

    A new Customer Service Centre “Lodige Process Technology, Inc.” is created in Florence, Kentucky/USA.

  80 YEAR ANNIVERSARY OF LÖDIGE

  LÖDIGE celebrates its 80 year anniversary with the largest order based on machine quantities in the LÖDIGE history: nearly 100 machines are sold to one and the same customer in the electrical mobility industry in Asia.
